“Freedom exists all around us; it can be seen and felt in quality communication, relationships, and creation.” – Elder Helen Payne
Did you know that freedom is considered a treasure? It’s been said that the first step to acquiring any treasure, is finding out where to look. If that’s correct, then step two might involve travel to an actual location. While we’ve been talking about experiencing freedom, people are still wondering where our freedom is and not realizing that you have to take hold of it. So then, how does one physically take hold of freedom when it’s not tangible like a treasure? Freedom exists all around us; it can be seen and felt in quality communication, relationships, and creation.
Without being aware, we fail to discern that we are in God’s presence. His eternal presence dwells all around us, whether we recognize it or not. However, God is a true gentleman. He won’t force anyone to acknowledge His presence if they don’t want too. That is why God’s presence comes to us by invitation, you have to accept and enter into relationship with Him. God has said in Revelation 3:20; “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man (or woman) hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.
Will you accept His invitation for your “Freedom”?
